Abstract: | This paper examined the concept and methods of standard setting and obtaining the corresponding cut score using the Angoff (1971) and Contrasting Group Methods, two methods that have been established as standard methods for test and performance standards. The paper presented procedural application of each of the methods, providing illuminating discussion on key issues to be addressed in the process of setting standards and cut scores. |
